Mounting the Attachment
Frame to the Lift Arms
Parts needed for this procedure:

Bolt (1/2–13 x 3/4 inches)
2
Lock washer (1/2 inch)
2
Flat washer (9/16 x 1–3/8 inches)
2
Hairpin cotter
2
Clevis pin (5/16 x 1–22/25 inches)
2
Support rod
2
Bolt (1/2–13 x 1 inch)
2
Clevis pin
2
Bolt (3/8–16 x 1–3/4 inches)
2
Locknut (3/8–16 inch)
1
Roll pin (3/16 x 2–1/4 inches)

Attachment frame
Procedure
1.
Insert a support rod into each end of the rear
tube on the attachment frame
Note:
Make sure the through hole is positioned
at the top.
2.
Loosely attach the bottom of each support rod
to the attachment-frame tube with a bolt (1/2–13
x 1 inch), a lock washer (1/2 inch), and a flat
washer (9/16 x 1–3/8 inches) as shown in

Position the attachment frame under the lift
arms.
4.
Move the lift lever to the F
lift arm down until the holes in the lift arm line up
with the holes in the attachment-frame brackets
and the support rods can be inserted into the
lift arm pads

Secure the lift arm to the attachment frame
brackets with a clevis pin
6.
Insert the end of the hairpin cotter into the slot
in the attachment frame bracket tab to retain the
clevis pin

Repeat the procedure on the opposite lift arm.
8.
Start the traction unit and raise the attachment
frame.
9.
Push down on the rear of the attachment frame
and insert the support rods through the lift-arm
pads.
10.
Install the height-of-cut collars onto the support
rods and secure them with the clevis pins and
hairpin cotters
Note:
front of the attachment frame.
11.
Torque the bolts securing the support rods to the
bottom of the attachment-frame tube to 75 N⋅m
(102 ft-lb) as shown in
