    PUTTING THE BATTERIES INTO THE REMOTE CONTROL UNIT ** BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED ** Press down the compartment cover, and slide the cover off to open the compartment. Place the two (UM4), (AAA), (R03) batteries in the remote control according to the polarity markings ("+" and "-") inside the compartment and on the batteries.

    CLOCK SETTING The clock can only be set when the unit is in standby. Press the PROG / C-ADJ button the display will show either 12H or 24H .(Fig1) Press CD SKIP UP or DOWN button to choose 24-hour or 12-hour time format.(Fig2) Press PROG / C-ADJ.

    LISTENING TO COMPACT DISC (CD) Set the FUNCTION switch to CD. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD compartment, insert the disc with the printed side facing upwards, press down on the front of the CD door to close the CD compartment, the total of number of tracks will be shown on the display.(Fig7).

    CD MODE REPEAT PLAY During CD playback, press the CD MODE button once, the current track will be repeated, and the "REPEAT" indicator will flash in the display.(Fig18) Press the CD MODE button again, all tracks on the CD will repeated, and the "REPEAT" indicator will show in the display, but not flash.

Insert a cassette into the deck and press the RECORD button. Press the CASS. STOP / EJECT button to stop recording. The CASS. PAUSE button can be used to stop recording for short intervals.
