Use the messaging app to send and receive text (SMS) and multimedia (MMS) messages.
Creating a message
On the message list screen, tap
Sending a text message
• Enter the name or the phone number of the recipient in the To bar or tap
• Tap the Type message bar to enter the text of the message.
• Tap to insert emoticons.
• When finished, tap
An SMS message of more than 160 characters will be sent as several SMS. A character counter is displayed on the
right of the text box.
Sync accounts with your device to access all contacts in one place.
Tap to merge contacts.
Set how contacts are sorted and displayed.
Import or export contacts between SIM card, microSD card and device storage.
Choose the default place to save a new contact.
