• The (power) indicator is flashing
m The printer is communicating with the computer.
Wait until the communication is over.
• The (power) indicator and the
indicator are flashing
m The printer is communicating with the computer
or waiting for the printing commands from the
computer. It takes some time to process the input
commands. Wait until the printer starts printing.
• The (printing) indicator is flashing.
m The printer is processing the data for printing. It
takes some time to start printing or to print
continuously. Wait until the printer starts
printing.
• The (power) indicator does not light or all
indicators are flashing (while communicating with
the computer).
m Print paper is jammed.
Remove the jammed paper from the paper outlet
at the rear (page 53).
m Print paper is jammed.
Remove the automatic feeder from the printer and
see if the paper jammed (page 53).
• The access indicator is flashing.
m The printer is accessing the Smart Media. Do not
remove the Smart Media and wait until the
indicator turns off.
• The (error) indicator is flashing.
m An error occurred with the printer or another
device connected to the printer. Turn off the
printer and all the devices connected. Check the
connection and try printing again.
