Setting the trimming and clamping device for the hook threads

13.1 Changing the knives

(1) - Screw

To change the knives:
1. Remove the bobbin capsule and the bobbin.
2. Loosen the screw (1).
3. Put away the blow tube (2).
4. Swivel up the machine head.
5. Loosen the screws (3) used for the right hook thread trimmer and
6. Pull the hook thread trimmer with its holder (5) up and out.
7. Loosen the screw (6).
8. Replace knives (8) and (9).
9. Tighten the screw (6).
10. Assemble the hook thread trimmer with its holder (5) again.
11. Swivel the machine down.
12. Align the blow tube (2) with the hook thread trimmers.
13. Tighten the screw (1).
14. Insert bobbin and bobbin capsule again.
