    Safety Considerations Read all instructions before attempting to operate this machine and save these instructions. Warning! When using electric machines, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury, including the following: 1.
  • Page 5 3. Overload Never let the machine operate fully throttled. Always follow the regulations pertinent to the material you are working with i.e. asbestos. Don´t use the machine for purposes that it isn´t intended for. 4. Body injuries Never let the suction come in contact with parts of the body. The strong suction effect can hurt the blood-vessels in the skin.
  • Page 6 Before further use of the machine it should be carefully checked that the machine is undamaged. If there are any damaged parts these should be repaired by a Dustcontrol authorized service center. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

    Operation Connect machine to suitable power source. If extension cord is to be used only waterproof is acceptable. DC Canada recommends cleaning it before the machine is shut down. Machine must be running to preform filter cleaning. To preform filter cleaning first loosen end cuff off tool.
  • Page 10 remove it. Once removed slide a bag over the open end of the unit (if required) remove the old HEPA filter and replace with a new one in the same orientation. Re-clamp on the pre-filter and the process is complete. These simple steps are outlined below.
