3. Overload Never let the machine operate fully throttled. Always follow the regulations pertinent to the material you are working with i.e. asbestos. Don´t use the machine for purposes that it isn´t intended for. 4. Body injuries Never let the suction come in contact with parts of the body. The strong suction effect can hurt the blood-vessels in the skin.

Before further use of the machine it should be carefully checked that the machine is undamaged. If there are any damaged parts these should be repaired by a Dustcontrol authorized service center. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. This machine is intended for commercial use only, for example in hotels, schools, hospitals, factories, shops, offices and rental businesses.

Connect machine to suitable power source. If extension cord is to be used only waterproof is acceptable. The DC 1800 is equipped with a filter indication lamp alerting you when the filter requires cleaning or changing. Generally the filter should be cleaned once to twice daily. DC Canada recommends cleaning it before the machine is shut down.
The DC 1800 can be used with or without a plastic collection bag. The plastic bag of the DC 1800 should be changed only after filter cleaning. Changing the bag is as simple and only involves un-latching the three container latches, removing and replacing the bag then re-latching the container on.
