Computer does not
come on when
power switch is in
the On position
Computer power is
on but screen is
blank
Special functions

Low battery: use AC Adapter and recharge battery.
V
Ensure AC Adapter cable and power cord are
securely connected.
V
Connect AC Adapter to another outlet.
V
Adjust contrast switch.
V
Press Shift to take the computer out of auto-suspend
mode.
V
Press Standby to take the computer out of standby
V
mode.
Computer set for external monitor; cycle power or use
VGA/LCD command.
V
Application is overriding computer BIOS interrupts;
V
notify your application provider.
Computer model does not support special function,
for example, DX4/75 models do not support Alt-
Ctrl- .

Turn the computer off: wait several seconds; then turn
the computer on again. If error persists, check list of
error messages for corrective action. Press Ctrl-Alt-
ESC to ensure all settings are correct.

Ensure that the keyboard switch is in the down
position.

When recording using the internal microphone. select
Mute within Pocket Mixer prior to recording to
eliminate feedback from the internal speaker.
