IV. Cleaning and Maintenance Instructions
A. Cleaning

1. Exterior

Wipe the exterior occasionally with a clean, soft cloth. Use a damp cloth containing a
neutral cleaner to wipe off oil or dirt build up.

2. Interior

Spills should be wiped up promptly to avoid unpleasant odors. The cabinet interior
should be cleaned periodically with a mild soap or detergent.

3. Door Gaskets

Door gaskets should be cleaned regularly with mild soap and water to remove dirt and
grease.

4. Shelves

Remove and clean regularly.

5. Glass Door

Wipe the exterior occasionally with a clean, soft cloth. Use a damp cloth containing a
neutral cleaner to wipe off oil or dirt build up.
B. Maintenance

1. Air Filter

Check the filter at least once a month. If it is dirty, use warm water and a neutral cleaner
to wash the filter. The filter is located behind the upper-front panel. This filter can be
removed by deflecting the retainer bracket and pulling the filter forward. The filter can
also be removed by pulling it straight up if there is at least 12 inches (305 mm) clearance
above the unit.

2. Condenser

Check the condenser (located behind the air filter) once a year and use a brush or
vacuum cleaner to clean the unit as required.
All other maintenance or service on this unit should be performed in accordance with the
Hoshizaki Service Manual by a qualified service technician.
