    ELECTRICAL INFORMATION GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS In the event of a malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides the path of least resistance for an electric current and reduces the risk of electric shock. This tool is equipped with an electric cord that has an equipment grounding conductor and a grounding plug.

    ASSEMBLY & ADJUSTMENTS UNFOLDING THE LEGS (Fig. 1) 1. Place the miter saw stand on a flat surface with the folded legs facing up. 2. Press down the release lever (Fig. 1 - 1) to disengage the locking pin and rotate the leg up until the locking pin clicks into the open position.

    MOUNTING THE MITER SAW MOUNTING A MITER SAW TO THE STAND The miter saw stand should fit most miter saws. Make sure the miter saw is unplugged from the power supply before attempting to mount it onto the stand. Refer to the next section on Page 10 for mounting uncommon miter saws. 1.
