To Begin
Carefully unpack the COLORband™ HEX 9 IRC and check that all the parts are
in the package, and are in good condition.
If the box, or any of the contents, appear damaged from shipping, or show signs
of mishandling, save all the packaging and file a claim with the carrier
immediately, do not notify CHAUVET®. Failure to report damage to the carrier
immediately, or failure to have all the packaging available for inspection, could
invalidate the claim.
For other issues, such as missing components or parts, damage not related to
shipping, or concealed damage, file a claim with CHAUVET® within 7 days of
delivery. For information on contacting CHAUVET®, see Contact Us at the end
of this QRG.
Description
COLORband™ HEX 9 IRC is a full-size hex-color (RGBAW+UV) strip light.
Three zones of control allow the creation of amazing chase effects.
COLORband™ HEX 9 IRC includes multiple DMX personalities to fit any
programming style. Access convenient pre-built programs with or without DMX.
In addition to DMX, control options include Sound-Active modes, auto programs,
and Master/Slave mode. Remote control is available with the optional IRC-6.
Custom color mixing and dimmer programs offer added functionality.

COLORband™ HEX 9 IRC has an auto-ranging power supply that works with a
voltage range of 100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz.
Power Linking
Power linking is when products are daisy chained together through their Power In
and Power Out sockets, so that many products can be powered from one outlet.
For the maximum number of COLORband™ HEX 9 IRCs that can be power
linked at 120 V or at 240 V, see the User Manual or the label on the product.
