    General advise Only use the battery charger delivered with your wheelchair. It’s not allowed to make changes at the electronic parts of the wheelchair. All modifications, including mounting non-approved parts or accessories, can make the product unsafe and can result in the annulment of the safety- and testnorms, as well as the warranty. Please read this manual carefully, even if your dealer has explained you the use of your wheel- chair.

    Steering With the build in steering you can manage all drive, brake and swerve situations with your electronic wheelchair. The electrical installation and electronics of your wheelchair are con- stantly checked. In case of demerit, the electronics automatically switch off the power. In this case you should contact your dealer.

    Armrests To adjust the armrests in height, loosen the handle. Adjust the armrest to the desired height and retighten again. (2) In order to adjust the plates with the control unit loosen the handle (1). Adjust to the desired height and retighten again. The armrest can be removed completely incase you wish to relocate yourself sideways.

    Backrest If your wheelchair is provided with cushions, you can remove the back by loosening the screws and slide the back upwards to remove it. Seat To remove the seat you only have to lift it from its frame. To put it back into its position, put it back onto the frame and make sure it cannot slide away.

    Batteries Your wheelchair is equipped with two, maintenance free batteries (2 x 12V 38Ah). As a conse- quence it is not necessary to refill the batteries as the filling has been calculated for the whole life span of the batteries. Start batteries, used in the automobile industry,are not suitable for your wheelchair.

    Transport Your wheelchair isn’t meant for indoor use only. It can easily be transported for travel. We have tried to make it as easy as possible for you to transport your wheelchair. Folding your wheelchair: Remove the back and the seat and put the footplate up. Disconnect the plug from the Battery pack.

    Pushing your wheelchair A companion can push your wheelchair. Use the levers at the back to disconnect the wheels. At this time, the wheelchair is no longer driven by its engine and your companion is able to push your wheelchair. In order to reconnect your engine to the wheels, you have to switch the levers again in the opposite direction.

    Commencement of operation When we developed your wheelchair we aimed at your comfort and safety. The anti-tipping wheels at the back of your wheelchair will prevent your wheelchair from tip- ping over. If you want to remove these anti-tippingwheels, it is sufficient to loosen the screws (1) and pull the tubes out of the frame.

    Helpful driving hints Before using the wheelchair for the first time, ask your dealer how to operate it. After that it is better that you familiarise yourself with your wheelchair in your own environ- ment. Only when you are completely familiarised with the use of your wheelchair, you can venture into greater difficulties.

    Brakes The electromagnetic brake system of your electronic wheelchair works automatically and does not require any maintenance. However, keep in mind that the brake system does not work when the wheelchair is pushed. The electromagnetic brakes will work automatically when you move the joystick from a driv- ing position back to the centre.

    Care and maintenance Regular maintenance is not only to keep your wheelchair in good condition but it also guarantees your safety. A first control is advisable after one month of usage. Refer to your dealer who will fasten all bolts and nuts. We also advise a 1/2 year check up.

All deficiencies as a result from production or imperfection of the raw material are included.
