START/STOP switch
The START/STOP switch is used to start and stop the
engine.
To do a check of the ON/OFF switch

Clutch guard
• Make sure that the clutch guard is in place before
you use the product.

To connect the battery
• Make sure that the wires are firmly connected to the
correct terminals, red (+) first, black (-) second.
• Make sure that the straps that holds the battery in
place are correctly assembled, so that the battery
can't move during operation.

The muffler gets very hot during and after use. This also
applies during idling. Be aware of the fire hazard,
especially when working near flammable substances
and/or vapours. The muffler is designed to keep noise
levels to a minimum and to direct exhaust fumes away
from the user.
Check regularly that the muffler is complete and secured
correctly.
Safety instructions for maintenance
WARNING: Read the warning instructions
that follow before you use the product.
• Make sure the engine switch is in the Off position.
• Do not modify the product from its original design.
• All repairs must be performed by a qualified service
person. Use only manufacturer-supplied or
equivalent replacement parts.
• Use approved protective equipment. Refer to
Personal protective equipment on page 7
• Do not make a hole in the Hepa filter. A broken Hepa
filter can disperse dust.

Assembly

If 1 of the parts is missing, speak to your local
Husqvarna service agent .
Make sure to dispose the package and the used product
components in correct procedure. Refer to local disposal
regulations. Make sure to recycle.

Operation

• Make sure that the plus pole cover is in place.
• Disconnect the battery in reverse order.
To start the product
CAUTION: Make sure that the clutch is OFF
before you start the product.
1. Put the throttle control in 1 of these positions:
a) Choke position and hold, if the engine is cold
started.
b) Full throttle, if the engine is not cold started.
