BASIC PHOTOGRAPHY

PREPARING THE CAMERA

1. To turn on and off the camera, press ON.
2. Check the battery indicator to make sure there is enough power.

NOTE: To ensure the camera provides optimal performance, change
the battery as soon as possible if they are running very low on power.
NOTE: If you are in the middle of capturing a photo or movie and the
battery runs out of power, the zoom lens will not retract to its
non-operation condition. The lens will re-initialize and start up again
after the battery is replaced.
NOTE: When the battery is running low on power, the flash, if turned
on, will automatically turn off. This indicates that you will need to
recharge the battery soon.
The DS9810 has 2 basic operating modes:
When you first turn on the camera, it defaults to Single Shooting mode
with full information displayed (default). To toggle between 3 levels of
LCD information settings:
1. Press DISP once to display simplified information (histogram).
2. Press again to display no information.

DESCRIPTION

Battery is running very low (battery indicator is red)
Battery is exhausted (battery indicator is red)
Capture (Still Photo Shooting and Video Capture modes for
taking photos and videos)
Playback (for viewing photos and videos)
