MEMORY

The type of memory currently used by the camera is indicated on the LCD:
ICON
TIP: You can choose to store the photos and videos to the camera's internal
memory or an SD card / MMC.

DEFAULT SETTING

You can reset all camera settings to factory default except for the current
time and date.
NOTE: Under environments where electrostatic discharge may occur,
the camera's speaker may malfunction. To correct this problem, use a
blunt stylus pen and press on the RESET hole to reset the camera.

LANGUAGE

The camera menu and setup can be viewed in 9 languages: English
(default), French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Traditional
Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese.

AUTO OFF

You can set the camera to turn off automatically when no operation is
performed. The period of time before shutdown can be adjusted: Off,
1 min or 2 min.
NOTE: Auto Off is not available during slideshow and video playback
or when the camera is connected to a PC.

TV MODE

If connecting the camera to a TV, you can set the camera's video
output system to either the "PAL" (default) or "NTSC" standard.
