6 − Recording
The SS-R1 can record MP3 or WAV format (44.1/48 kHz)
audio to a CompactFlash card.

Selecting the input source

You can select the input source (recording source) from
three types of input: analog balanced, analog unbalanced,
and digital.
To select an input source you can use the menu or the
remote's
key.
INPUT SEL

Using the dedicated remote key to select the source

Each time you press the
INPUT SEL
through the three input source.

Using the menu to select the source

(For details on menu operations, refer to "Operations in the
menu screens" on page 16).
1 Press the
key to access the main menu list

2 Select the REC menu.

CompactFlash card has been inserted, that the necessary
connections have been completed, and that the SS-R1 is
powered-on.
NOTE
You can't change the input source during recording.

5 When you've made your selection, press the front

The input source selection is remembered even when
the power is turned off.
