M O U N T I N G T H E M I C R O P H O N E 1. Screw the shock mount onto the threaded post of a mic stand. For 5/8-inch posts, remove the adapter bushing from the shock mount’s socket. 2.

1. Turn the speaker volume down, and use an XLR cable to connect the microphone to a preamplifier, mixing boards, or recorder. Note: Recording directly into a computer requires an XLR-to-USB adapter such as the Polsen XLR-USB-48. 2. Turn the phantom power on.
