INSTALLATION ON AN AIRCRAFT

When traveling by airplane with your child, Chicco recommends taking
the Child Restraint on the airplane with you so that you can use it with
your child. Not only will it protect your child during take-off, landing, and
turbulence, it will also allow your child to be more comfortable.
• This Child Restraint is certified for use on aircraft , in STAGE 1 & 2 or STAGE 3
mode ONLY. Contact the airline prior to travel to discuss their Child Restraint
policy.
• Use this Child Restraint only on FORWARD-FACING aircraft seats.
• Install Child Restraint on an aircraft the same way it is installed in a vehicle
when using a vehicle lap belt. Reference Rear-Facing on page 72 or
Forward-Facing on page 92.
This restraint is NOT certified for aircraft use in
MODE. Aircraft do not have lap-shoulder belts to secure your child.
