3-3-3. Verification of Firmware Revision
In this section, the update procedure of the LIB-162/A3 (AIT library)/ the internal AIT3 drive or the
CSM-20 (SAIT library)/internal SAIT1 drive is described.
The recommended firmware should be available at EMCS WW service website. Click "Firmware
Library" in the Service Information on the left-hand side and search by the model name.
Click [Firmware Revisions] in the Webmin [Service] menu and the current versions are displayed. When
the current version is old, a recommended version is suggested in red. A procedure for version up is
following.

Stop PetaServe service.
Webmin: Services → Start/Stop of PetaServe
Upgrade the firmware by the menu.
Webmin: Services → Firmware Revisions
Check the firmware if it is same as the recommended version. If not, the "Update" icon should be high-
lighted. (If it is grayed out, PetaServe processes may be still running.)
Click the icon and chose the firmware file to upgrade the library.
Restart the PetaServe service after upgrade is completed.

When the firmware matches with the recommended version, the update button becomes invalid.
