The movement
Your chronograph is equipped with a self-winding mechanical movement. Every motion of your wrist
drives the oscillating weight, which winds up the spring and keeps your watch running. When fully
wound, your watch's power reserve is approximately 40 hours.
Technical characteristics
Your new TAG Heuer chronograph has the technical characteristics of an authentic sports watch:
• water-resistant to 100 meters *
• hands and minute track with luminescent markers*
• steel bracelet, or rubber or leather strap equipped
with a folding buckle with safety push-buttons*

Like any quality watch, your TAG Heuer requires close care. Here are some basic recommendations to
enable you to maintain its reliability and better safeguard it from the ravages of time:
Rinsing. Please regularly rinse your watch in fresh water and soap, especially whenever you have
used it in salt water. For frequent or prolonged use in water, we recommend you opt for a steel and/
or gold bracelet. Remember that your watch is only water-resistant if the crown is correctly screwed
in* or pushed into the normal position.
Condensation. In case of an abrupt temperature change, some slight condensation might appear
under the crystal of your watch. This mist will disappear of its own accord, and does not impede correct
operation of the watch. If the condensation persists, please consult your TAG Heuer watchmaker.
Gaskets. With time, your watch's gaskets can deteriorate. We recommend you have your watch's
water resistance checked once a year by your TAG Heuer watchmaker. If necessary, they will replace
the gaskets.
Self-winding movement. If a self-winding mechanical movement is off your wrist for some time,
its power reserve will be drained, and the watch will stop. To restart it, we recommend you wind the
