    Before a new TAG Heuer product is launched it is put through more than 60 precision and quality tests.

  • Page 5 *According to model CARING FOR YOUR TAG HEUER Like any quality watch, your TAG Heuer requires close care. Here are some basic recommendations to enable you to maintain its reliability and better safeguard it from the ravages of time: Rinsing. Please regularly rinse your watch in fresh water and soap, especially whenever you have used it in salt water.
  • Page 6 Gold plating. Some of our watches have components on which a thin layer of gold has been deposited by galvanic electroplating. Sensitive to friction on hard, rough surfaces, this thin layer of gold can wear out over time. Under normal conditions of use, the plating on your TAG Heuer watch will fully satisfy your requirements.

    *According to model SETTING THE TImE AND DATE Your TAG Heuer watch is equipped with a screw-in crown* with safety gaskets ensuring its water resistance to an immersion depth of 100 meters. The crown has 3 or 4* positions. position 0: screw-in crown*, normal position Important: the crown must be screwed in correctly to ensure the water resistance of the watch.

    USING THE CHRONOGRApH NB: before starting timing, always set the crown back into normal position 0* or 1*, and if necessary, reset the counters by pressing button when the chronograph is stationary. *According to model SINGLE TImING 1. Press button to start the chronograph.
  • Page 9 TImING USING THE «FLYBACk» FUNCTION* With the "Flyback" function you can make rapid successive time measurements with a single press on button , without needing to stop and reset the counters before restarting the chronograph. Note: since this function does not stop the chronograph before restarting a new measurement, the result can only be read on the go.
  • Page 10 TAG HEUER CHRONOmETER* Only chronometer-certified chronographs are accompanied by a certificate of proof that the movement has passed all the tests carried out by C.O.S.C. (the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute), and that its accuracy and reliability were tested for 15 days, in five positions and at three different temperatures.
