In doing so you will ensure the safety of yourself and that of others around you, and you can look forward to your purchase giving you long and satisfactory service.
Unplug charger before attempting to clean. • These chargers are intended to charge the Clarke 20V Lithium-Ion Battery (part number: 6487050). Any other uses may result in risk of fire, electric shock or electrocution.
• Do not place any object on top of charger or place the charger on a soft surface that might block the ventilation slots and result in excessive internal heat. Place the charger in a position away from any heat source. The charger is ventilated through slots in the top and the bottom of the housing.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS WARNING! Read these electrical safety instructions thoroughly before connecting the product to the mains supply. Before switching the product on, make sure that the voltage of your electricity supply is the same as that indicated on the rating plate. This product is designed to operate on 230VAC 50Hz.

RED and The battery is defective and needs to be replaced, remove GREEN light and reinstall the battery into the charger. If the lights status flashing still shows defective, try charging a different battery. If a alternatively different battery charges normally, dispose of the defective battery.
