• Should you have any concerns about health issues, consult your doctor be-
fore using the heat pad.
• Do not use the heat pad on parts of the body that are swollen, injured or
inflamed.
• Should you experience persistent pains in the muscles and joints, please
inform your doctor. Persistent pains can be a symptom of serious illness.
• If you experience any pain or discomfort while using the unit, stop using it
immediately.
Please check first of all that the unit is complete.
The following parts are included as standard:
• 1 MEDISANA HKS / HKF / HKC / HKM / HKN Heat Pad with cover
• 1 Fastening strap (included with the HKN)
• 1 Instructions for use
The packaging can be reused or recycled. Please dispose properly of any pack-
aging material no longer required. If you notice any transport damage during
unpacking, please contact your dealer without delay.
WARNING
To avoid risk of suffocation, keep packaging film away
from children!
You can use the MEDISANA HKS / HKF / HKC / HKM / HKN heat pads to gently
warm and relax various parts of the body. Using the heat pad stimulates blood
circulation in hardened muscles and helps you to relax after a strenuous day.
The heat pad features an electric temperature control that regulates the
temperature according to the chosen setting. With the hook and loop strap
supplied with the pad you can position and fit the pad to the desired part of
the body.
Only use the heat pad in the cover supplied with it.
Plug the unit into the mains outlet and move the slider control from position 0
to position 1. The power LED will light up in red. After a few minutes you will
be able to feel the pad getting noticeably warmer. If you require a higher
temperature setting, move the switch to the next positions, 2 or 3, or to the
maximum heat setting, position 4. If the pad gets too hot for you, move the sli-
der back to position 3, 2 or 1.
