Use a blunt instrument, e.g. a spoon
handle or plastic scraper, to prise it
apart carefully.
. . . the frozen food is thawing
because the freezer section is too
warm.
^ Is the room temperature lower than
the ambient temperature for which
the appliance is designed?
If so, raise the temperature of the
room.
Operating in a room which is too cold
will cause the compressor to switch off
for too long, causing the freezer section
to become too warm.
. . . the alarm sounds and the alarm
off sensor is flashing.
The wine conditioning zones are too
warm or too cold in relation to the set
temperature or the freezer section is too
warm in relation to the set temperature
because
^ the doors have been opened too
frequently, large amounts of fresh
food have been put in at once for
freezing or many bottles of wine have
been placed in the appliance.
^ the ventilation gaps are blocked.
Once the problem has been resolved
and the correct temperature has been
reached, the alarm indicator will go out
and the alarm will stop.

Check the temperature displays about
6 hours after switching on the
appliance. Only temperatures within the
range the appliance can display will be
shown.
. . . "_F" appears in the temperature
display.
There is a fault. Call the Miele Service
Department.

^ Replace the active charcoal filters.
