# Checking the Drive Chain Wear
Check the chain wear label when
CB1100CA
adjusting the drive chain. If the red zone on
the label aligns with the rear end of the
swingarm after the chain has been adjusted
to the proper slack, the chain is excessively
worn and must be replaced.
Check the chain wear label when
CB1100NA
adjusting the drive chain. If the rear edge of
the adjusting plate enters the red zone on
the label after the chain has been adjusted to
the proper slack, the chain is excessively worn
and must be replaced.
Chain: DID50VA11 or RK50HFOZ6
If necessary have the drive chain replaced by
your dealer.
