Maintenance
It is advisable to carry out at least once a year by a qualified staff a check on the working of devices, the combustion, the
lighting and device's safety.
If it is necessary to replace an accessory or device, it is advisable to request the spare part from the manufacturer (see
the exploded drawing with the spare part list at pag.20).
Before starting any work it is necessary to disconnect the device from the gas network.
Cleaning of the evacuation system of combustion
gases
It is recommended to check at least once a year the
cleaning and the regular draft of the smoke evacuation
system. If the draft is insufficient, the smokes enter in the
environment through the intake openings and cause the
production of carbon monoxide, very dangerous for
health. It can also cause a rise in temperature inside the
combustion chamber which can cause damage to the
product. This operation must be carried out by a qualified
staff. You have to follows these directions:
- remove the cover for gas valve and unscrew the related
fixing screws;
- dismount the burners protection mask;
- loosen in sequence: the termocouple, the valve-pilot's
gas tube and the valve-burner's gas tube;
- Unscrew the fixing screws and remove the support box
with burners and pilot;
- take away the draftdamper;
- clean the smokes system;
- remount the same parts and check the tightness and the
working performance.
Cleaning the air intake of the appliance
It is recommended to check at least once a year the
cleaning and the regular aeration of the air intake that
communicates with the outside. If the air inside the room
is insufficient, it does not guarantee the correct
recirculation of air for the combustion of the appliance
and cause the production of carbon monoxide, very
dangerous for health. It can also cause a rise in
temperature inside the combustion chamber which can
cause damage to the product. This operation must be
carried out by a qualified staff. You have to follows these
directions:
- dismount the burners protection mask and remove any
solid bodies and various obstructions (for example leaves
or dust);
- remount the burners protection mask and check the
tightness and the working performance.
Smokes sensor replacement
The smokes sensor replacement can be carried out only
by a qualified staff. You have to follows these directions:

- take out the cables connected with the fastons;
- loose the screws which fix the smokes sensor to the
antiwind;
- mount the screws on the new piece;
- fix the screws.

correspondent paragraph.
Safety gas valve replacement
The replacement of a defected gas valve must be carried
out only by a qualified staff. You have to follows these
directions:
- Remove the cover for gas valve and unscrew the related
fixing screws;
- loose the gas connection (pilot burner and main burner);
- take out the smokes sensor's cable;
- empty the water tank;
- remove the safety gas valve and replace it with a new
one;
- set all the parts and the connections by following the
inverse procedure and connect them respectively.
Piezoelectric ignitor replacement
The replacement of a piezoelectric ignitor must be carried
out only by a qualified staff. You have to follows these
directions:
- remove the cover for gas valve and unscrew the related
fixing screws;
- remove the piezoelectric ignitor and replace it with a
new one;
- Remount the cover for gas valve and fix the related
screws.
Routine control of the magnesium anode
It is compulsory to the warranty the routine control and
the possible sobstitution of the magnesium anode,
operation that have to be executed by a qualified
assistance centre. Every check have to be registred in the
present user's manual.
If after 12 months the magnesium anode is completely
worn, this means that the water you use is strongly
corrosive and may damage the tank in a short time. It
this case the warranty declines.
