Due to the possibility to operate the DS511 with dedicated Android and iOS
®
mobile application Tytan GPS the SMS with vehicle low battery and vehicle
power supply change may contain ceded information starting with ## marks.
This information shall be ignored.
RESENDING SMS RECEIVED BY DS511 TO THE FIRST PROGRAMMED MOBILE PHONE

NUMBER
The device can resend to the first programmed mobile phone number any SMS
received – e.g. sim card provider messages – low funds on pre-paid sim card or
others. Function may be enabled by installer of system.
SMS COMMAND DENIAL
Sometimes the SMS command cannot be executed: e.g. AUX output
command without AUX module. In such case, the device does not execute
command and returns the SMS:
The command can not be executed.
CHAPTER 4
IMMOBILISER FUNCTION
On demand the immobiliser function of DS511/DS512 can be enabled.
IMMOBILISER MODE 1
This function, when active, does not permit to start the engine.
In order to start the engine the passive immobiliser has to be authorised in one
of two ways:
1. passive JOKER remote authorisation (additional RF module and Joker remote
are required)
2. PA button authorisation - press the PA button for approximately 1 second
The activation of immobiliser occurs:
- 30 seconds after the ignition is switched off
- immediately after disarming of vehicle security system
If the immobiliser is active (the engine has been immobilised) the LED blinks very
quickly 3 times per 2 seconds.
If the immobiliser is authorised, the LED lights up for 1s and then goes off. The
vehicle is ready to go.
The immobiliser will not be activated if Joker remote is present in the vehicle.
On demand, additional immobiliser protection can be enabled.
In the following conditions (mode 2, mode 3) the immobiliser can start alarming
(siren, hazard lights and GSM paging) independently of VSS.
IMMOBILISER MODE 2: ALARMING OF UNAUTHORISED START
If the immobiliser is activated and the user switches on the ignition, a 30 seconds
timer is started.
If the immobiliser is not authorised within these 30 seconds the alarming will start.
IMMOBILISER MODE 3: ALARMING OF UNAUTHORISED VEHICLE ENTRY
Same as above and additionally if the VSS is armed and then disarmed and any
door is opened, the 30 seconds timer is started. It can happen only once after
every disarming of VSS!
If the immobiliser is not authorised within these 30 seconds the alarming will start.
The immobilizer alarming works as described below:
When the 30 seconds timer to immobiliser alarming is started, the LED blinks very
quickly 4 times per 2 seconds.
Then, the hazard lights start to blink and the siren sends warning chirps. 10
seconds later the siren is switched on permanently and the GSM paging is sent.
The hazard lights remain switched on permanently.
