Plugs to fill the compressor element at initial start-up
Action
Install the compressor, see the sections Dimension drawing, Installation proposal and
Electric cable size.
Stick labels near the control panel to warn the operator that:
the compressor may start automatically after a voltage failure
the compressor is automatically started and stopped
the compressor may be remotely controlled
A number of VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) plates are provided inside the bodywork to
protect the compressor against corrosion. Remove the plates.
Remove filler plugs (1).
Pour approx. 1 l (0.26 US gal/0.22 Imp gal ) of oil into the compressor elements.
Refit the plugs.
Check that the compressor is filled with oil; the pointer of the oil level indicator should be
in the green range (see the section Oil change).
