How to Place Documents

Scanning multiple documents

Standard paper feeding should be used when scanning multiple
documents of a standard size at one time. Standard paper feeding
enables multiple documents to be fed while separating each page.

Open the document eject tray.

Pull out the eject support.
When placing long documents, pull out the document eject
extension support to match the length of those documents. Also,
stand the eject stopper at the end of the eject support if necessary.
IMPORTANT
To extend the eject support and the eject extension support, lift
and pull.
Hint
When scanning documents of different size at the same time, the
scanned documents may not collect neatly on the eject tray. In
such cases, scan with the tray extension extended.
