    Carefree of Colorado Service Manual SCENT 6. On one end of the deflector, loosen the screws for the end cap approximately 1" and slide the end cap out. It is not necessary to remove the screws and end cap from the deflector.

Failure to exercise care and/or failure to follow the instructions can result in personal injury and/or property damage. if the spring is prematurely released, the roller tube can spin out of control and cause personal injury and/or property damage.

    PRING SSEMBLY NOTE: R001877 (Ascent XL) contains both the LH and RH springs. Both springs should be replaced to ensure that the springs are the same strength on both sides of the slideout cover. This procedure will require two people.

Just follow these basic steps:  Periodically check that the fasteners are tight. Tighten if necessary.  Keep the awning fabric clean. ABRIC NOTICE Do not use oil based cleaners or any caustic, granulated, or abrasive type cleaners on your Carefree product.
