POWER-ON LIGHT OR STATUS LIGHT PROBLEM
SYMPTOM
5:
Power-on light is not on.
ACTION:
1.
Set the I/O switch to 0 (Off).
2.
Make sure the voltage source is correct at the power outlet.
3.
Reseat the power cord firmly in the video unit.
4.
Set the I/O switch to
(on).
5.
Does the Power-on light come on?
NO
Set the I/o switch to 0 (off) and go to step 6.
YES
Resume normal operation.
6.
Unplug the keyboard cable.
7.
Set the I/O switch to I (On).
8.
Does the power-on light come on?
NO
Go to Step 9.
YES
Replace the keyboard.
9.
Set the I/o switch to 0 (Off).
10. Unplug the video cable; wait 30 seconds.
11. Set the I/O switch to I (On).
12. Does the
power-on light come on?
NO
Go to Step
13.
YES
Replace the logic board.
13.
Disconnect the power cord from the video unit and check for propel- voltage.
Is the voltage correct?
YES
NO

Exchange the video unit.
Exchange the power cord.
