CHAPTER 3. REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES
This chapter describes how to remove and replace the console FRUs.
3.1
KEYBOARD UNIT
1.
Set the I/O switch to 0 (Off).
2.
Unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
3.
Disconnect the keyboard cable from the logic unit.
4.
Turn the new keyboard over.
5.
Set the setup switches on the new keyboard to match the old keyboard settings.
6.
Record the switch setting on the label supplied with the new keyboard.
7.
Reinstall in reverse order.
