The STROBE pulse used to read in or send out data. Pulse

width at the receiving terminal must exceed 0.5 p.s.
These signals convey the Ist to 8th bits of data.

level indicates a logical 1; a LOW level indicates a logical O.
A pulse of approx. 12 W. A LOW level indicates that data

has been received and the scanner is ready to accept mom
data.
When this signal is HIGH, the scanner cannot receive data.
