ignition, parking light and
all circuits switched on,
predrive check is

* Ignition and lights off,
steering not locked
(handlebars can be turned
freely to left or right)
* The key can be removed in these
positions

steering lock engaged.
Turn the handlebars all the way
to the left before engaging the
steering lock.
Switch the parking light on only
for limited periods. Note state of
battery charge.
