Formatting the memory card

You may choose to format your memory card with either the device or a
computer. To use the device for formatting a memory card:
1. Press the OK button to stop the device from recording. The red flashing dot
showing on top left corner of the P600 screen would disappear, that means it's
not in recording mode now.
2. Press the MENU button twice to enter System Settings
3. Press the DOWN button to navigate to the "Format" option
4. Press OK to confirm your selection
5. Press the DOWN button once
6. Press OK when the word YES is highlighted in blue
Before formatting a memory card, always remember to make backup copies of
all important data stored on the memory card. The manufacturer's warranty does
not cover loss of data resulting from user actions.
