Basic use (Serato DJ Pro)

Launching the system
First, you need to connect your PC/Mac to a Serato DJ Pro-compatible
DJ controller or DJ mixer.
• For detailed information on using the Serato DJ Pro software, and the
Serato DJ Pro-compatible DJ mixer or DJ controller, see serato.com.
1 Connect the Serato DJ Pro-compatible DJ mixer or DJ controller to
your PC/Mac using a USB cable.
2 Turn on your PC/Mac.
3 Turn on the Serato DJ Pro-compatible DJ mixer or DJ controller.
4 Launch Serato DJ Pro.
– For Mac
In Finder, open the [Applications] folder, then click the [Serato DJ Pro]
icon.
– For Windows 10
From the [Start] menu, click [Serato] > [Serato DJ Pro] icon.
– For Windows 8.1
From [Apps view], click the [Serato DJ Pro] icon.
– For Windows 7
In the Windows [Start] menu, open [All Programs] > [Serato] >
[Serato DJ Pro].
5 Connect the unit to your PC/Mac using the supplied USB cable.
When the unit and Serato DJ Pro are properly connected, the unit's pad mode
button (by default, the [PAD MODE 1] mode button) lights.
• The unit works with the standard driver of your PC/Mac's operating system.
You don't need to install separate driver software for the unit.
