If gas is released, contact Huawei technical support.
If gas is not released, go to the next step.
Step 4 Check whether there are alarms on the gas fire extinguishing controllers outside the container.
Step 5 Open the door of the container and check whether a fire has broken out.
Open the container door a crack and check whether a fire has broken out in the container. If a
fire has broken out, close the door immediately and press the emergency start switch to put
out the fire. If there is no fire, go to
Step 6 Determine the alarm severity based on the documents delivered with the VESDA.
Step 7 Check whether there is obvious smoke or combustible in the container.

Step 8 Check for faults of the power supply system and cooling system.
Step 9 Use a carbon dioxide fire extinguisher to spray the combustibles.
Step 10 Rapidly power off the devices in the smoke area or near the combustibles and switch off the
circuit breakers.
Step 11 After the fire alarm is cleared, report the event to the management department of the data
center and contact Huawei technical support.
