Safety instructions

• Always keep the main switch (2) at '0' position when the boiler is not used or does not
contain water.
• When the keep warm (3) switch is on ( position), the boiler must be covered with
either teapot or the lid. Otherwise the appliance will not perceive that the water has
boiled and will not make energy saving.
• The amount of water poured into the boiler must be between the maximum and
minimum level limits (0.5 – 2.3 lt). These limits are marked on the boiler. Excess
water may overflow during boiling. Do not allow water to go bellow minimum level; in
such case, add water.
• Only use the original energy transmitting plate (10) of the appliance.
• Never immerse the boiler and energy transmitting plate in water. While filling with
water, take the appliance away from the energy transmitting plate.
• Never fill anything other than water in the boiler.
• Watch out the water drops under the teapot, before serving the tea, slide the teapot
on boiler's upper edge.
• Keep your hand away from the vapour coming out of the boiling water and always
use the handle to hold the appliance. Do not let the children use the appliance.
• Always connect the appliance to an earthed socket. When using the extension cable,
make sure that is it earthed and has a 0,75 mm2 cable section. Keep the cable away
from the hot surfaces.
• Damaged network cables should be replaced by the authorised service center.
• This appliance should NOT be used by people (including children) with reduced
physical or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play the appliance.
