Setting Up the Printer

Turn off the printer, and remove
all cables and cords from the
printer.

Remove the adhesive tape and the
packing materials.
Important
Don't remove the adhesive tape
(A) that is holding the tray and
cable, until the bypass tray is at-
tached in step K.

Use a coin to remove the two
screws of the right side of the
printer.
Note
The removed small covers are
no longer required.

Remove the two socket screws
holding the cover on the right
side of the printer using the in-
cluded wrench, and remove the
cover.
Note
The two removed socket screws
and the detached cover are no
longer required.

Mount the brackets of the holder

by placing them in the printer and
pushing downwards slightly.

Use the wrench to fasten the four
socket screws in the order shown
in the illustration (A - D), to se-
cure the holder to the printer.
