5 Setup

5.1 Installation

Find a suitable location for the amplifier and if necessary, fasten it using the mounting brackets. Screw on
the included antenna to the antenna jack and put it in a vertical position.
Notes
Make sure to place the amplifier within the WiFi signal range. A weak signal can lead to connectivity issues.
In this case, we recommend installing a WiFi repeater to increase WiFi coverage. The amplifier can also be
connected to the router via an Ethernet cable
the most stable performance.

5.2 Making the connections

To connect your speakers:
1) Connect your passive speakers to the speaker terminals (13): R = right speaker, L = left speaker). Make
sure the polarity is correct. To facilitate handling, the terminals can be removed from their plug-in
connections on the unit and replaced after connection. To obtain the highest output power, connect
speakers with an impedance of 4 Ω. It is also possible to connect speakers with higher impedance; this,
however, will reduce the output power accordingly.
2) Alternatively, you can use the RCA connectors (11) for audio output. Use standard stereo RCA cables to
connect line-level devices (active speakers, stereo, receiver, etc.) to these outputs.
To connect the power supply:
Connect the amplifier to a mains socket via the included power adapter. Thus, the amplifier will be switched
on. For a more convenient operation, use a mains outlet which is switchable. Always disconnect the mains
connector when the unit is not used for a longer period.
