Final Checkout of the Hard Disk Drive Installation

7.
If the hard disk does not respond properly when power is
applied, take the following steps:
o Check the power cord.
Make certain that it is connected to
a 115V/AC wall outlet, and that it is firmly plugged into
the back of the HORIZON.
o Check all cable connections inside the HORIZON.

WARNING
BEFORE YOU REMOVE THE HORIZON COVER, TURN OFF THE MAIN
POWER SWITCH, UNPLUG THE POWER CORD FROM THE WALL OUTLET,
AND DETACH THE CORD FROM THE POWER RECEPTACLE ON THE BACK
OF THE HORIZON.

Remove the HORIZON cover and check the alignment and
connections of the power cable and the two ribbon cables.
Make sure all the cables are firmly seated.
9.
Reassemble the HORIZON, and turn on the main power switch
after the cover is back in place.
If the hard disk drive
still does not function properly, contact your North Star
dealer for assistance.
