CAUTION

To prevent damage to the components on the
controller board, discharge static electricity
from your body by touching a grounded metal
object before you remove the controller board
from the shipping kit.
To prevent damage to components on the
controller board, only insert and remove the
circuit board by using the plastic tabs
located on the upper corners.

If you are installing a hard disk drive for the first time,
or if you are upgrading a pre-existing hard disk drive, use
the hard disk controller board that was shipped with your
installation kit.

Insert the hard
disk controller
board in slot

with the component
side of the board
facing the front of
the HORIZON.

Press down firmly on the controller board to seat it in the
