    Regarding the suitability of the TRIVAC NT pumps for special appli- cations in which such gases, respectively substances shall be pumped, Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum should be consulted first. The pumps are not suited for pumping of liquids or media which carry large quantities of dust.

    The intake line must be clean. Deposits in the intake line may outgas and adversely affect the vacuum. The connecting flanges must be clean and undamaged. Waste oil from vacuum pumps (Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum oils which are based on mineral oils) which are subject to normal wear and which are con- taminated due to the influence of oxygen in the air, high temperatures or mechanical wear must be disposed of through the locally available waste oil disposal system.
