How to Handle Malfunctions

If abnormality is found during driving,
bring the vehicle into a full stop and
make sure that the other vehicles on the
road know the problems. Also make
sure that the passengers are safe.
a. Turn the emergency light on.
b. Activate the parking brake.
c. Place a support behind the wheel.
d. Place a warning sign 100 meters
away the vehicle if it is on a highway
or vehicle-only road.
CAUTION
An accident is likely to happen by
an approaching vehicle if the
warning sign is not placed.
Be aware of the vehicles approaching if
you are fixing the vehicle yourself.
It is very dangerous to repair the
vehicle on a highway ot inside a
tunnel.
Parking on a curve is very dangerous.
When lamps on the gauges
panel turns on while driving
When the lamp lights on, immediately
bring the vehicle into a full stop, and
check for the problems.
REFERENCE
Lamps such as direction lamp,
speed lamp, and gear neutral light
on during driving.

When the Engine Does Not Start-up

Check if the main battery switch is
"ON" .
Check starter fuse and starter motor.
Check the battery status.
Check the battery relay and the main
fuse.
Check the fuel level.
CAUTION
Attempting to start engine for more
OM-B180
than 10 seconds continuously by
turning the key on START position
could damage the motor with
overcurrent.
Reconvey the key when the engine
start-up is delayed. Wait for a minute
and try again.
If the car won' t start even after 2~3
attempts, examine the vehicle.
