Audio outputs

Connect your power amplifier or multi-channel active
subwoofer or active speaker to the RCA jacks (12). To
do this you will need three stereo RCA cables:
FRONT LEFT/RIGHT
CENTER

SUBWOOFER

SURROUND LEFT/RIGHT
Subwoofer
You can connect an active subwoofer to the
SUBWOOFER jack (12) with an RCA cable.
If you use an active subwoofer with wireless connec-
tion, activate the connection in the "System Setup"
menu (see "Radio links" on page 18).

Headphones

You can connect Stereo headphones to the HEAD-
PHONE jack (11) with a 3.5 mm plug.
The outputs to the power amplifiers (12) are auto-
matically deactivated when connecting headphones.
However, they can be reactivated with the button
(22) on the remote control. This makes it possible to
operate the DecoderStation 6 with the speakers, even
when the headphones are inserted (e.g. while using
wireless headphones with the transmitter permanently
connected).
WARNING
Risk of injury/damage!
Lower the volume before you pull out the headphone
plug out again; otherwise, the speakers may emit
unexpected high sound pressure. This could injure
your hearing or damage the device.

Connecting to a power supply

1. Make sure that your active subwoofer and/or the
active speakers are switched off.
2. Connect the small plug of the mains adapter
the jack (5) "12V".
3. Connect the mains adapter
(100 V–240 V ~ / 50/60 Hz).
