THIS STAGE REQUIRES TWO PEOPLE.
Center top (T1) lid panel has a
preinstalled, hinged framing piece
along the back edge. Fold the
framing piece down.
On the underside of the framing
piece is a predrilled hole, which
corresponds to the preset wood
dowel in the back (B) panel.
Have your assistant help hold the
(CT) lid. Align the hole with the
dowel and push the panels together.
At the outer corners of the framing
piece are predrilled starter holes.
Attach the (CT) lid to the side panels
with the medium-length Phillips
head screws.

THIS STAGE REQUIRES TWO PEOPLE.
To install the locking hinge, have your
assistant hold the (CT) lid open.
→ Start the installation with the bottom half first.
Locate the two starter holes on the inside
framing edge of the (R) side panel.
Using two short-length Phillips head
screws, attach the bottom half of the
locking hinge (see detail [a]).
With the bottom half installed,
locate the starter holes on the wood
rectangle glued to the inside of the
(CT) lid. Using two short-length Phillips
head screws, attach the top half of the
locking hinge to the lid (see detail [b]).

Your hutch is now fully assembled!

#460 & #461 Rabbit Hutch models. The only difference between
models are in width and slightly in height.
• Enlist A Friend: For best results, and to guard against potential
damage to wood during assembly, this hutch requires two people.
• Count Hardware & Review All Parts: If any screws are
missing, or if parts are damaged during shipping, please contact
