Overview
The 10 Gigabit Ethernet-CX4 PCI Express (PCIe) Adapter is a low-profile, high performance CX4 copper
network interface controller (NIC). The product conforms to the IEEE, 802.3ae 10GBASE-CX specification
for Ethernet transmission. 10GBase-CX4 uses the XAUI (10 Gigabit attachment unit interface) specified in
802.3ae, and the 4X connector that is used for InfiniBand technology. The adapter is used to connect
servers or switches over short distances of up to 15 meters.
