ADTS leak check

Before carrying out a leak check, allow at least 15 minutes for the ADTS to warm-up.

Set-up

1) From Dashboard >> Settings.
2) In the Settings >> ADTS Settings.
3) Select ADTS LIMITS >> then SELECT LIMITS" >> select MAX AERO.
4) Return to ADTS Settings.
5) Select Pressure units.
6) Select the "mbar" radio button.
7) Exit the Settings menu and return to the Dashboard.
8) Select PITOT STATIC.

Pressure leak check

This procedure verifies that the unit is leak tight under positive pressure conditions.
1) Select CONTROL.
2) Toggle Pressure Aeronautical Units to mbar.
3) Swipe screen across right to left to select the Rate Timer and set the "WAIT" time to 5
minutes and 0 seconds and touch the "tick" icon.
4) Set the "TEST" time to 1 minute and 0 seconds and touch the "tick" icon.
5) Swipe back to the control mode.
6) Touch the Ps "AIM" value to highlight it.
7) Use the numbered keypad to input the new value: 1050.00mbar, set rate aim to
500mbar/min and touch the "tick" icon.
8) Touch the Qc "AIM" value to highlight it.
9) Use the numbered keypad to input the new value: 860.00mbar, set rate aim to
500mbar/min and touch the "tick" icon.
10) Wait until the Ps and Qc have reached the "Aim" values and stabilized (indications will be
green).
11) Select MEASURE.
12) Swipe across to select the Rate Timer.
