The AC adapter and vehicle charger are the disconnecting devices. The plugs

must remain readily operable.
Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs,

outlets, and the point where they exit from your DVD player.

Do not place your DVD player on an unstable cart, stand, tripod,
