Selecting a component

MUTING

Press one of the input button.
You can also use INPUT SELECTOR on
the receiver. The selected input appears
on the display. To select a component
connected to the MULTI CHANNEL
INPUT jack, press MULTI CH IN button.
Switch the input signals from the
component connected to the HDMI IN
jack of the receiver to HDMI signals
using the TV, etc., connected to the HDMI
MONITOR OUT jack of the receiver.

Turn on the component and
start playback.

Press MASTER VOL +/– to
adjust the volume.
You can also use MASTER VOLUME on
the receiver.
The initial volume level is set to minimum
(muting).
To activate the muting function
Press MUTING on the remote. To cancel,
press MUTING on the remote again or turn
MASTER VOLUME clockwise to raise the
volume. Even if you turn off the receiver, the
muting function works when you turn the
receiver on again.
To avoid damaging your
speakers
Before you turn off the receiver, be sure to turn
down the volume level.
